WHO SHOULD CONSIDER A RHINOPLASTY

The ideal candidate for a rhinoplasty is a patient who feels self-conscious about the shape, size, symmetry, or position of their nose. The nose structure is exceptionally complex, and it is necessary to use the most advanced surgical techniques to ensure the newly-reshaped nose is correctly supported and will not collapse or be uneven. Dr. Nassar is a highly-skilled plastic surgeon who has been trained by some of the most respected rhinoplasty plastic surgeons while at Harvard.

WHAT ABOUT REVISIONAL RHINOPLASTY?

Revision rhinoplasty, also known as redo rhinoplasty, is for those patients who have already had a nosejob with a different surgeon and are unhappy with their results. These operations are extremely complex and require a great amoutn of skill to correct the problems resulting from the initial operation. Dr Amer Nassar, has extensive training and specialization with revisional rhinoplasty from his time at Harvard, and continues to find ways to help patients that have been turned down by other surgeons.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SURGERY

When you wake up from surgery, your nose will be bandaged with a nasal cast to ensure the best outcome. After a few hours of monitoring, you can return home under the supervision of an adult. You will have swelling and likely some bruising for a few days. Breathing out of your nose l be limited for the first one to two weeks. You should also avoid lifting heavy objects and any exercise until cleared by Dr Nassar. You will be given specific recovery instructions which you should follow closely.
